THE FIRST PART :- THE HAMITIC - ( Mizraim -> Philistim -THE PALESTINIAN )

                   One of the sixth sons of "Ham" called "Pathrusim", his son was "Philistim" , the other son was "Casluhim" ,and his son was ""Caphtorim",They were lived in the "Caphtor" Island ,as cousins with their fathers , But for some reasons the  "Caphtorims" groups, with their cousins, of The Philistims"groups ,accompanied together ,to invade the southern eastern coast, of the "Mediterranean" sea shore, before the times of "Abraham" ,the "TORAH" recorded the existents of the "Caphtorims", in some little references ,like "Deuteronomy 2.23" where he said "The "Aviims (a Canaanite people)which dwelt in "Hazrerim",even unto "Azza", the "Caphtorims",which came forth out of "Caphtor,destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead".  It was clear that the invadors, "Philistims" and "Caphtorims", had some purposes to possess many areas, near their cousins, the "Egyptians",who were the other sons of "Mizraim's people,or the sons of "Ludim", "Anamim", "Lahbim" and "Nephtuhim" who were living in "Egypt".                                                                                        Some times they had to attack their cousins, and some times they had a good co operation with them ,as we shall see .                                                                                                                                                                  The first time in the history, to the use of the form of "Palaestina",was by "Herodotus", it occur also in "Tell-el-Amarna"litters (14 th century BC ) ,and used by the "Romans" , specially after the destruction of "Jerusalem" ,70 AD ,for some political purposes. The name of "Palaestina"was used by them to name the wesern souther part of "Syria",The Holy Bible called those people "Philistims" ,some times called them, the "Amalekites" (see Genesis 14.7,20.1,26.18,19 )it was clear from these verses, that they were lived between "Kadesh -bernea"( A location apparently in the north-east of "Sinai"peninsula) ,and "Shur" ( A wilderness-region in the north-west part of "Sinai")   .                                                                                                                                                                                            They have their private traditions and religion, which was different from the religionn of "Israel", their main city "Gerar" were their biggest capital , and their kings usually called "Abimelech" . like the "Abimelech" of "Abraham" or of "Isac" or of "David".                                                                                                                                                                          Their relations with their near relations, the "Egyptians" ,were not so good , some times they attacked them, to protect their northern eastern boarder , they called the "Philistims" people "The Sea People" and they recorded them in their monuments . they recorded that the "Sea People ", were some people ,who were driven out by "Dorians", from their original Island ,and came to attack the "Hitittes", in order to drive them out and dwelt in their stead, they possessed the capital of the "Hitittes" ,The Holy Bible's history agreed with this Egyptian history in Amos 9.7 .So the "Egyptians" attacked them, to stop their dreams in possessing more areas, by the leadership of "III Ramsis", at the fifth year of his reign ,or at 1170 BC ,which explains the causes of the "Pharaohs remains",in the archeological discoveries of that area ,also he built an Egyptian temple of "Bethah -hottop " at "Ashcalon", and continued his invading ,until he reached to "Phoenicia", he recorded that at the Temple of "Ramses III at "Medinet Habu" ,drawing pictures, to record his work ,Also in the walls of the temple of "Karnak"(Thebes),"Ramses II recorded that he attacked the double-walled fortress ,of "Ashcalon ,on it's mound ( 'tell) .the picture draw the Egyptian soldiers ,put scaling ladders, against the outer wall, and attack a door with a battleaxe . Pharaoh's arrows smite defenders ,on the walls, who lift their arms In token of surrender, One man holds aloft an incense burner; In the panic . a woman and child are lowered from turrets on the inner wall .                                                                                                                                          They were like their near relations ,the Egyptians had a faith in the eternity ,and also put the tools of the dead with him in his tomb ,A disarticulated burial at "Bab edh-Dhra" showing the pottery and other artifacts placed in the tomb for use in the next world .                                                                                                                               The old testament recorded their abilities in making the bronze,brass and the other metallic tools ,(see I Samuel 13.19-22) . That is what the archeological discoveries approved, by their discoveries in"Tell-el-Hassi", 1970 . It was one of the reasons ,which the Israelite people ,felt some misjudgment of the Palestinian's coasts , of their tools,they tried to prevent them , possessing the metallic tools, or repair it, Sure, they have their reasons , for they had some fear from their attacks .                                                                                            At the eleventh century, they were forced to live in the mountain's places, after their struggling against the" Hihhites ", and the" Israelites", and the "Egyptians" ,we must observe that the expression, which  "Ramses the third" have used, to describe what he has done with them, that he" weakened them", not oppressing them to be loyal for his reign or destroyed them .                                                                                                                                                       The archeological  discoveries, in "Kirbit el Moqenna", the place of the old city of "Ekron", which recorded in Joshua 15.11 ,discovered an older city, which have been built during the Iron Age, its walls were forty Acres in thickness, and its area was the double area of "Megiddo", or, the half of the area of"Lachish"(Tell ed Duweir  today) .                                                                                                                                                                 We found many places in the "TORAH" ,and the holy Bible ,where he mentioned the "Palestinians ", as in Genesis 20,21,26 ,about their peaceful relations with "Abraham" and "Isac", with some of light quarrellings , between them, it recorded the agreements between them and "Abraham" and "Isac"as for example .                                                             During the exodus, "Moses" avoided their places,  Exodus 23.31 ,but the first war between them and the Israelite, were during the days of "Shamgar the son of Anath" Judge 3.31                                                   And in the story of "Samson"Judge14.1  ,                                                                                                  Also the war between them ,during the reign of "Saul"I Samuel 4,17,18 .                                                             And the escaping of "David" to "Lachish" the king of "Geth" .                                                                                         This race ,I mean the" Philistims" race,were weakened, during the days of the Israelite kings, and began to vanish , until  they disappeared completely ,after the kings ages .                                                                  But the land returned to the name "Palaestina" ,during the Romans period ,their habitants called Palestinians, although the real tie between them, and the old "Philistims",were not a historical fact ,it was just obeying to the       Roman authority rule and laws .          and follow Rev.Joseph        .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

THE GENEALOGY OF THE OLD SACRED LAND'S NATIONS(General Principles)

                The reader of the "TORAH", may misunderstand some of the social events , which recorded in that holy book,due to his modern conception,about the social orders of the old nations, who lived in the sacred land during that time of age , therefor he must study first, the social history of the old communities, who have dwelt in this area ,                                                                                                                                      .The reader can reach to a right understanding, to the old social state, using The "TORAH", without any added references , but it takes a long time, to put the informations which you understood , in your memory archive, to reach at the end ,to the general figure , of the old societies state , that is because the purpose of the "TORAH",was not to write a book of social affairs ,but it reflects it ,with a valid truth, and when you want to know something about the society of the "TORAH", to follow it using patience and well understanding ,to the different events ,which have been recorded .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             The first mistake which may occur during the fast or the hurry reading, is to imagine that the expression"The land of Canaan"  ,.is an expression which expresses a conception of a country, ruled by the Canaanite people ,and under their political authorities and laws . it is a fault, a mistake and a common error .                                                                                                                                                                                   You will find in the same time,that the same land,was called the "Palestinian land" ,sometimes also called the "Hittites land" ,and so on .                                                                                                                                                                                                        It is clear that the modern conception of the country, have not born yet, during the historical times, which have been recorded in the "TORAH", the conception of a systematic authorized country, as a political unity, were in the" Nile Valley" where it was" Egypt" and the civilization of the "Pharaohs Egypt", and in the" Valley of Tigris and Euphrates Rivers" where it was the civilization of the "Mesopotamia" .                                                                               The conception of the country as a political unity, have begun by "Nimrod" ,in the "Mesopotamian city"they called it"Babel" ,and from "Babel" all the nations spread out ,with a distinct  language, to live wherever they went , see Genesis 10. 10,11, 11.9, therefor "Nimrod" was the first king,and "Babel" were the first capital,which have a distinct border,reached to the land of "Shinar",                                                                                                                                                                                     The sons of "Mizraim"who have chosen the Nile valley, have the same attitude ,of building a political unity, to create a private country, inside a limited border ,they released it by "Narmer", the first pharaoh ,who reigned "Egypt" as a political unite .                                                                                                                                                                                           The rest of the nations, in spite of they had the same hopes to build a great border unite, to prove their sovereignty,politically, military, and also with a united cultural theory, to be similar to the great two civilized countries, in the "Mesopotamia " and "Egypt" knew the valleys of the rivers, gave the country its real power ,because it gave the people ,the stability ,and the continuous source of the water, to cultivate their lands ,and establish an economic wealth, which enables them to build the army,and the different affairs of the country .     Some of the short rivers in the area, between the two civilizations  like the "Jordan Valley"where the "Amorites"built their city "Shenir" ,which changed to be "Hermon"Dt 3.9,"Abanah" and "Pharpar"valleys where the "Aramaeans "were building their civilization, which have reached its top during the days of the kings 2Ki 5.12 .                                                                                                                                                           The remained groups of people ,were scattering here or there,depending on the "Wells",like what "Abraham" have dug ,and what "Isac" have dug (see Genesis  26.18-25.). the wells were the central place, where the people lived near the well to cultivate their lands and grow their cattle ,the owner of the well was the boss,or the chief man,or the king or any chosen title by his people live with his family.                                                                                                                                        The wells were the causes of the wars, like what we have seen during the life of the patriarchal fathers , the wars were depending upon the wealth of the kings ,or the owners of the wells,because the wealth were enabling them to buy slaves, to be under their orders ,during the wars .see Genesis 14.14 ,the "Confederate Agreements" were established in that time, to collect the powers of the owner's,in collecting their slaves together, to face the enemies see Genesis 14.13  .                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            According to what we have said, we can discover the state of the old nations, who lived in this place as follows:- (1)they lived where they found a source of water, the greater were their source ,the greater were their power , and authority .As a result of that ,the vast border area increased ,to establish a country with its    completed affairs.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  (2)the little groups were scattering in the area, as the" Primitive Inhabitants of The Deserts" in a small limited area ,around their well, for example, You can find "Canaanite" group, around their well ,living under the rule of the father of that group , but after a distance about  twenty miles,a "Palestinian"groups lived around their well ,also after a distance of ten miles, you can find a "Canaanite" group,who has a relation with the first "Canaanite "group, but they lived separately beside other "Palestinian"group or ""Jebusite" or, "Amorite" and so on .                                                                                                          You can name the whole area the land of "Canaan""  you will be right, but you can call it the land of the Palestine" or the land of "Jebusite" and you will be also right . let us take every nation separately to study its affects in the whole area .
